Assistant Cashier — Mr. Good Restaurant
We are looking for a diligent and customer-focused Assistant Cashier to support daily financial and front-desk operations. The ideal candidate will assist in processing transactions, attending to customers, and ensuring smooth cashier operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Cashier in processing customer payments accurately and efficiently
Handle POS transactions, cash collections, and change issuance
Support in issuing receipts and recording sales transactions
Attend to customers courteously and respond to basic inquiries
Assist in balancing cash register at the end of shifts
Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of the cashier area
Support order coordination between customers and service staff
Help resolve minor payment or billing issues promptly and professionally
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification
Prior experience in cashiering or customer service is an advantage
Basic understanding of POS systems and cash handling
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Honest, attentive, and detail-oriented
Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
